I s there power in positive thinking?
I do believe that there is power in positive thinking, higher how aspiration are the more you’ll work towards them there you achieve. We all heard stories about people who come are from stories poverty ridden backgrounds and are some of the wealthiest Americans. They spoke about the passion, drive and hunger they had to reach their goal. They had to make a lot of sacrifice to achieve their goals. Comedian Steve Harvey talked about leaving his wife and three kids in order to become the successful man he is now. While living with his family they were very poor and unable to save money. He had to make a tough decision to venture out, and become a successful personality. If you are more likely to push for your goals to happen your mentality is set on your main goal.

RELATIONSHIPS AND HAPPINESS DRAFT 1
A number of Americans are prescribe daily with anti-depressed drugs leading them to believe it can make them achieve happiness, when The drug industry makes a huge profit off the anti-depressants that the society purchase, Whether are not these pills are harmful to some and even affect their happiness we are pursue to believe that these anti-depressant pills is the best way to achieve happiness. Therefore people with minor depression symptoms are talk into trying out an anti-depression believing it will make their life be full with happiness. Everyday Happiness should be distinguished from happiness induced by pharmaceuticals drugs.
Many of society’s advertisements are base around pharmaceuticals drugs TV ads, bill boards, magazines. Not knowing the side effects or what the drugs is deeply needed for, many people rush to taking the drugs. That is why so much Americans rush into taking anti-depressant. “Just seeing the happiness these pills can portray make me want to leap to the greener side of the grass” Dr. Jackson Clyde states So many people believe that with taking the pill comes happiness and this is not true it doesn’t work for everyone and most cases doesn’t need to be used. Many people who are taking anti-depressants are not severely depressed, there’s a huge difference in being depressed and severely depressed. A person who usually is severely may experience thoughts and actions that are harmful to themselves and others such as suicide thoughts, sleeping disorders, eating disorders, as a person who is just slightly depressed may be mad for the moment. The majority of people who are depressed whether it severely are slightly believe anti-depressant is the answer. “Depression is not a brain disease, and chemicals don't cure it.” Irving Kirsch, Ph.D. states
The most important step that many tend to skip past is evaluating the depressed mood, determining its severity and if it makes sense in this person's life. Many people deal with complaints of anxiety rather than depression. “Do we even know what makes us happy? And it difficult to figure out what makes us happy in the moment, how can we predict what will make us happy in the future” (Daniel Gilbert qtd in Jon Gertner 9) mildly depresses patients often jump to anti depressants pills to look for everyday happiness when it clearly a dose of anxiety in everyday life. Misjudge by what is presented with anti-depressed pills patients relay heavily on happy future. When mildly depressed patients are able to move on without it.
There are many reason why mildly depressed people are lead to take anti-depressed, It can be because of the commercial ads, bill boards or magazine but one thing is for sure this industry is one of the highest paying industry in the world. Just like any other job it all about the money and happiness an person can attain from their job and its being provide on both sides. In “How happy we will be written by Greg Critser” He talks about a young man who been seeing his psychiatrist for years but recently sent him to wealthy man who prescribes him anti-depressed drugs. This shows that every medication that’s being distributed is also a benefit for the drug industry. So what happen to the one that’s being misdiagnosed with depressed just to benefit the industry what about the side effects. . In Ben Harder’s article, psychologist Kirsh admits that one of the side effects of antidepressants is increased risk of suicide. This can lead mildly depressed person in a deep situation that wasn’t meant for them.
Depression can mean a lot of things that people often misjudge for a disorder it affects majority of people in America and is often lead to other things that industries can benefit off of.

What im grateful for?
What I'm grateful for ? This question makes me wonder i. Although i usually focus on the doubts and what needed I'm still grateful for many things like, I'm most thankful for my religion when things are down i have god to lean on, to cry ,and to talk to he been there for me and he always answers back without screwing his face or looking down on me. he just overall loves staying with me. Next I'm thankful for my mother she raise me into the women i am today. she has show me the path that ahead if I'm not doing right. She provided my home and pay the bills without asking me for a dime. she puts food on the table and provided for others too, she loves my friends and allows Me to be the person i want to be. She shows me life morals so that i wouldn't be taken a fool or make anyone take my happiness away, I'm also thankful for my father because without him there wouldn't be no me . He not like other fathers he was there for me and still is and he cherish me. and the last thing I'm grateful is my brother because i lost one and at least i can try to prevent my him from going into the wrong direction. There are many things I'm thankful for i can go on and on but these things that i have mention is priceless it not thing that can be purchase in stores there one of a kind and many people don't have these gifts of joy.

RELATIONSHIPS AND HAPPINESS DRAFT 1
How do we determine the kinds of relationships that's make us happy ?
Many people believe that they need a relationship to make themselves happy but in reality relationships can be for the better or for the worst what happens after the relationship foe say goes sour and doesn't have a fairly tail ending does it have a major effect on out happiness .
Our society is base of sharing one's love with another but what if u can't love who u want to love does that lower or happiest or rise it many people who love the same or love wrong according to family tends to be way less happier than the ones who love right .
As a person whose has experience a relationship that made me happy . I fully understand how that can have a Hugh effect on my happiest . Although the people didn't want me around a" Muslim " he made me happy I mean he was the same culture and same upbringing as I was so I didn't understand . But the effect of people thought made me unhappy. The influence everyone has on me was unbearable . I was caught between whether I'm doing the wrong thing or the right thing . I finally came to the conclusion that whatever made me feel right what the right thing to do . I felt an internal happiness when I was with him and it resulted in overall happiness . Eventually everyone learn to understand my happiness and started to except what made me happy to make themselves happy . As lord Byron stated "All who would win joy must share it; happiness was born a twin" (pg 111) meaning that happiness was meant to be share with someone and in my case happiness was spread
throughout others, it was a relationship of happiness with others.
The world we live in today is very judgemental and base upon believes that not everyone is supported by leaving the world to be fill with unhappiest by others . As the Francis bacon write "redouble joy, and cutteth griefs in half". (Pg 111) it would be a much happy world most of the time people tend to make others unhappy if we just share the happiest someone has found we would replace the unhappy with happy .

Real Love vs "the Ideal" Blog 5
When two people meet for the 1st time nobody really comes as themselves. They change there ways to be mannerism , they change their clothes and their style to suit the other person ways and habits . This is typical for an ideal relationship, Afraid of what the other people might think and not wanting to leave the wrong impression.after a while when the ideal becomes a reality what happens?
I once watch a movie name along came Polly it about a man name Reuben who marry his "perfect" lady Lisa and she became his wife, only to fine out on their honeymoon she was cheating with the scuba instructor Claude. this is a perfect example of a ideal relationship Lisa was the sweetest , kindness and in love until the honeymoon came, The real love kick in and she realize that's was just an idea of a perfect relationship.
Many people believe that the ideal relationship will be the perfect way of living but it proven not to be . later on the person you met earlier wont be the person a couple years later .

Happinessand work
past society believe that work was created for mankind himself and that work was meant to be one of the most important parts of the day , according to many family the work you do would reflect on how u were treated , eat and even live . In recent years it still reflects on how may are treated if many Americans choose to flip burgers instead of a typical nurse how would they life be affect they home , car, they way they eat and live . but here's the question if you don't like nursing whats in it for you . how do you relate happiness to a career you rather not have choose but because of society money and a career that provides it make you an overall happier person.
Tony Robbins also explain the spirit we need it to help us explore the opportunity and look beyond ourselves when seeking our career and with career fine a long term happiness. i highly agree with ted most people just choose a career for money and not for the long term happiness they are many people who are not happier with the career there career but if you u a janitor no one respect for you for what you do . or the overall respect you get is low.

Is happiness in education blog 3
I endure the unsuccessful relationships with reading to greater my experience with school and learning hand's on. The influence other's had on me when I went to school was a huge impact on the way i view school. It show me different points of view of others and that school was not meant to be enjoy. While reading I found that I would often drift off. Till I learn that hand's on would be the perfect style of learning for me .students believe that education is just a pathway to money or the only reason they should attend school is because they parents suggested it. So are they any true meaning of happiness in education? Students have been lead to believe that it’s something to dislike or not want to do. Why can’t some students enjoy education for it values.
The issue of school has always been one of the major issues in life. Mark Van Dorean states that “The Drowning model shows: the desire to free ourselves of pain can be a strong motivator and that, once freed, we can easily mistake our relief for happiness.(83) People often learn how to adjust themselves to not enjoy school. Many people thoughts and judgment of school are clouded by negativetavie. However when we accomplish many events we are overjoyed. The other model Mark Van Dorean states is " The loving making model: it offers a different way of thinking about learning, one that can encompass both present and future benefit. Others believe as i agree that if you endure the present you'll enjoy the future. so is school really happiness ? or just a fairy tale to happiness.
Throughout my life I have always learn that school wasn’t something I was suppose to enjoy but something I have to endure to move further in life. While attend school during my primary school days I began to hate school more and more , asking myself why do I have to wake up , why do I have to do work , why, why, why I was basically taught by others that it was the way I was suppose to act when it came to school. In addition Daniel Goleman states "Psychologists agree that IQ contributes only about 20 percent of the factors that determine success" (85) so why was I to believe what everyone else thought was right, it was up to me to have opinions about education.
As I got older and older I realize I might as well make the best of it since I’m going to attend it for the most part of my life. Also everything I wanted to be was involving school for some reason, that’s when the friends with different mentalities about school held conversations with me. I later realize that if I wanted to enjoy school I would have to adjust to a different mentality about school .since I was earlier taught that school was just a stepping stone in life. I was getting grades that was pretty good for an high school student but when I got a A+ I was over joy , Of course it was in clinical class where I got to be hands on. I taught to myself that maybe a hands on job was for me instead of the typical desk job where I didn’t enjoy sitting at all. In fact it taught me that sitting and learning wasn’t for me. Is happiness in education I taught? It was happiness when A is being provided or when children accomplish something.
As a college in sophomore I have learn how to adjust to have happiness in education. Yes after many years of school I have endure many reasons why not to enjoy school. But looking back at the cons of why I didn’t have happiness it was an upfront explanation. But I’m pretty much 99.9 % sure that happiness can be found as long as you’re doing it for the right reasons. I found that hand-on education was what I enjoy hopefully others can look deeper into the concept of education other than just books and homework. Like Mark Van Dorean stated " In school, children should be encouraged to peruse the paths that afford them pleasure and meaning." (85) If every child enjoyed education they would be much more interest in their school and more likely to pass.

``THE FUTILE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS"
In "The futile pursuit of happiness" by: Jon Gertner Daniel Gilbert states his ideas and opinions of what happiness is, the most interested thing that caught my eyes was the impact bias, it’s when we predict how we will feel about certain things in the future and the how we end up feeling differently when they actually happen. Living in New York many people believe in the impact bias and very much believe that material things can make them happy.
I myself believe in the impact bias , Not only because I live in new York and its consider a place where anything is possible but because when I was high school I was surround by a bunch of teenagers who believe life is about clothes and sneakers. Just because everyone had name brand clothes, I watch as people who didn’t have what everyone else was wearing get pick on, bully and even abuse it lead most children in high school to believe that if they didn’t get what everyone was wearing they won’t be happy or not a part of the "in crowd" although some of them did get the clothes that still didn’t make them change and in the end realize that material things didn’t change the way they feel.
Another type of happiness that caught my eye was that, Dan Gilbert stated that Natural Happiness is when we’re happy because we got what we wanted. It’s comes unexpectedly. I believe in natural happiness because many times in my life I have experience it. For example one time me and my cousin were sitting on the bus and I spotted a new ipod touch on the floor of course I was happy and new ipod touch for free that I wanted .I waited for everybody to leave the bus and nobody head was wobbling looking for a ipod I was so happy to fine a brand new ipod that why I believe in natural happiness it happen so unexpectedly.
Dan Gilbert was right “What is happiness” we can’t really say they are many different point of views towards happiness.
